Pineapples: One Fruit, Many Flowers
Pineapples are unlike most fruits they don’t grow on trees and what looks like a single fruit is actually a fusion of dozens of individual flowers. Each “eye” on the pineapple’s surface represents a separate flower that merged together into a single tropical treat.
We embrace this botanical magic by gently drying our pineapple into golden tidbits and chewy rings. The fruit’s natural sweetness is a result of up to two years of patient growth on a single plant which only produces one pineapple at a time.
